We are very pleased to present the very first Australian Aboriginal fine art exhibition in Luxembourg: Painting Australia.

The exhibition will showcase contemporary paintings from the APY Lands (South Australia) and Arnhem Land, and is in association with Tjala Arts, Ninuku Arts and Buku-Larrnggay Mulka.

It will be installed in House 17, an exclusive private members club housed in the former Justice of Peace building, located on the edge of the picturesque Pétrusse Valley with views across the old fortifications.

This culturally and artistically important exhibition will be officially opened by the Australian Ambassador to Belgium and Luxembourg, His Excellency Dr Mark Higgie.

We are very proud that Macquarie Infrastructure and Real Assets, through its Luxembourg office, is the exhibition sponsor for Painting Australia. Macquarie is a diversified Australian financial group with global operations and offices in the world's major financial centres with a 48-year record of unbroken profitability. We thank Macquarie Infrastructure and Real Assets for generously supporting our Aboriginal artists and their unique art.

We would like to thank our wine sponsor for the vernissage, the Dominikaner Weingut C. von Nell-Breuning, makers of special hand-produced Rieslings and Sekts since 1670.

And last but not least, a special thank you also goes to our Art App Partner of the exhibition, itondo. The itondo app lets art lovers virtually hang any artworks on their own wall, to scale using their iPhones or iPads. Powered by the best in Augmented Reality technology, itondo is the leading iOS AR mobile app for art.
