James Tylor selected for 3 prizes and a US festival

Marshall Arts is pleased to report that up-and-coming contemporary artist, James Tylor, whose thoughtful photomedia work we represent, is having a very successful year. The creator of such affecting hybrid work as (Deleted scenes) From an untouched landscape #11, 2013, has been selected as a finalist for the following prizes:

  • 31st Telstra National Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander Art Award, NT
  • 2014 National Works on Paper Prize, Mornington Peninsula Regional Gallery, VIC
  • the Bay of Fires Art Prize, TAS.

Plus James will also be the only Australian artist at this year’s LOOKbetween festival at Deep Rock Farm, Virginia USA. He will be sponsored at this event by the prestigious Kluge-Ruhe Aboriginal Art Collection, University of Virginia.
